Sales Representative - Remote (worldwide)

This position is a remote 1099 Independent Contractor, based virtually, paying commissions on all aspects of supplier listing sign ups, video production services and venue sourcing, offering uncapped commission potential. There is no base pay but excellent commission potential.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Developing client contacts of hotel, venue and virtual service providers to showcase how virsitour can help them book more group meetings and events worldwide. 

  • Maintain and expand client relationships in order to expand the range of services provided 

  • Working with meeting planners and clients to support venue sourcing

  • Utilizing company provided CRM platform

  • Sourcing through virsitour

The ideal candidate must possess the following qualities:

  • Minimum 2 years working with and selling in the hospitality industry 

  • Experience selling sourcing and as a planner or supplier

  • Strong working knowledge of the MICE industry

  • Wide network of contacts involved in hotel/venue sales and marketing

  • Excellent communication skills, written and oral presentations a must

  • Entrepreneurial, "can do" attitude, and is motivated by building their own book of business

  • A true “go-getter” who understands and knows how to navigate the landscape

  • Destination and property knowledge a plus

  • Industry involvement and engagement in Local and National Associations a plus

  • Knowledge of meeting logistics management and end to end services a plus
